Apple cider vinegar anyone ?

They say an apple a day keeps the doctor away. While I do not doubt an apple a day would have a positive impact on many of our diets, I believe apple cider vinegar will do a lot more for us. It is known for its effects on gut health and digestion due to its anti-microbial properties.  From my experience of being a personal trainer in St Johns Wood and working with many different clients, it’s clear that sometimes exercising and eating well is not always enough to ensure great results. Clients gut health could be the culprit, if we are not digesting our food effectively we are not absorbing the nutrients our body needs to function efficiently. This has an effect on our energy levels, quality of sleep, metabolism, and recovery.

Apple cider vinegar helps to break down bad bacteria while nourishing the good bacteria in our gut. If we are able to sustain a healthy gut it can lead to a positive effect on our digestion leading to healthier skin, hair and oral hygiene. Studies suggest regular consumption of apple cider vinegar can help increase our satiety levels throughout the day. This means we are less likely to snack as we will fuller for longer.

Furthermore, it has been shown to curb blood sugar spikes which can be particularly beneficial for people with diabetes or who are insulin resistant. If you consume it with meals higher in carbohydrates apple cider vinegar can decrease post-meal blood glucose levels limiting inflammation.

I recommend Braag organic raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar. You can consume up to 3 teaspoons per day. Have one serving first thing in the morning, another serving with lunch and the third serving with dinner.
